Celebrity Grilling: The Sequel

Following on from the success of last year’s Celebrity Grilling event and once again hosted by Angus Deayton Celebrity Grilling: The Sequel saw two celebrity teams going head to head to cook signature dishes, shake things up behind the bar and serve up a unique experience to guests at the restaurant all in aid of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.

Former England and Liverpool Footballer John Barnes was one of the captains with Blackburn player David Dunn helping John on the attack front of house, while Rugby star Charlie Hodgson proved he has a safe pair of hands, stirring up cocktails behind the bar.

The sports stars took on the all stars team from the world of television, which was led by actor John Thomson.  Making up the rest of the all stars teams were Coronation Street stars Brooke Vincent and Samia Smith and Hollyoaks Stars Ashley Taylor Dawson and Nick Pickard. Key 103 Breakfast Show presenter Mike Toolan helped raise over £50,000 pounds on the night.
